AnonyMouse_14268
Does anybody use a Dictaphone to record an observation instead of pen and paper? If so where did you get them from and how do you find it works?
AnonyMouse_19782
Dictaphone - that takes me back a few years to work in the Bank!! I haven't recorded anything but sure you can get them, one of my assistants doing Level 3 had to do her feedback into her tutor's dictaphone (very cringy) I assume you can get dictaphones from the temple to offices (Staples) or Currys maybe. We used to have a digital recorder years ago you could save different "files" on it. Think they are quite sophisticated these days.
AnonyMouse_73
It depends what you want to do. Ie just to record your observations or convert your speech to text which I used to do. A basic dictaphone isn't too expensive, software does cost although there are plenty of apps available now but I don't know how good they are.
