Fun and exciting ideas for teaching height

I just wondered if anyone had any different ideas for teaching height. We've measured each other and recorded it on a height chart and made towers using cubes to compare height.

Any other ideas would be appreciated!

How about using other random measures? 'Toni is 12 red pencils high' measured lying on the floor. Help children understand that there are other units of measurement.
