Baseline assessments - Evaluation

Recommended Posts

We give the parents this (usually the section appropriate for there age or around) http://www.foundationyears.org.uk/files/2015/03/4Children_ParentsGuide_2015_WEB.pdf

As well as "about me" information to see what they like to do at home etc Interests..

Then when this child starts we can complete the child's baseline over a 6 week period approx.. and do a little observing in each area of learning to "double check" or to add on. Obviously children usually behave differently in a new environment, so once they are happy and joining in more, we have a good picture of this child and can then start to plan for next steps..
