AnonyMouse_15046
This is why I believe that all inspections should be no-notice inspections. They should be observing what usually happens in schools, not what happens after a few days of frantic activity and teachers staying up all night trying to plan inspirational lessons. I think someone should research the quality of the lessons delivered during the notice period and the two weeks following an inspection when the staff are all recovering. I suspect that the conclusion would be that Ofsted inspections have a significant negative impact on the delivery of the curriculum.I'm sure they have a very positive impact on the tidiness of the filing cabinets for a while though.
