Guest
Are you interested in joining the staff of a rapidly expanding and ambitious school located in one of the most interesting capital cities in the world? We are looking for an EYFS teacher to join our expanding Early Years department. The school is actively planning for the construction of a new, purpose built, Kindergarten to accommodate the rapidly increasing demand for Early Years education in the city. Knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum and experience of teaching it will be important. Experience of delivering EYFS in the context of an international school will be an advantage, though not a prerequisite. We offer training and support within the department as well as many school-wide opportunities for CPD. You will be able to demonstrate good knowledge of the curriculum and the ability to plan effectively to offer both challenge and support to EAL and native English speakers. You will also be able to direct your TA team effectively. Our aim is to appoint excellent staff who will work hard, be good team players, support the ethos of the school and bring something new to our strong EYFS team at an exciting time in the school’s development. Applicants should be native English speakers and hold a recognised teaching qualification. The majority of our staff are from the UK, some with prior international experience and others with none, but we also have staff from other parts of the world who add to the international flavour of the school. Haileybury Astana already enjoys an excellent reputation locally and offers an education equal to that of the best schools in the UK. Our staff receive a very competitive remuneration and benefits package which includes a tax-paid salary, generous accommodation allowance, excellent health care and annual return flights. For an informal tour of the city please follow the link below which takes you to the COBIS award winning video made by our Y3 pupils. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vcJgnh6FT6M For further details, including how to apply, please visit our website www.haileyburyastana.kz under the Staff tab or contact Kathryn Walsh at Haileybury UK (Astana.Recruitment@haileybury.com) Initial interviews will be held via Skype.
