AnonyMouse_4562
Hi, I'm really excited as I'm being allowed out to do home visits! I need some advice about what to take or do. I will be taking the I can statements from The eyfs as we have to have concrete evidence that we have taken the parent's views towards assessment and I was thinking of taking a class teddy who can have his/her picture taken with each child in their home and will be displayed in September. Any other ideas gratefully received! The parents will have been to a meeting at school so will have had the general information. Thanks, green Hippo x
AnonyMouse_60265
We have made a social story booklet that we take with us and leave with them. It has pictures of the pre-school entrance, garden, toilets and activity areas a big pitcure of their key perosn and pictures of all other staff. The key person will usually go through this with the child at the visit and Its really useful for new parents to look through with their child after we've left. We've had really good feedback about this.
