Happy Birthday Queen Elizabeth

Recommended Posts

Well I thought I would share our beautiful day with the children today.

We held a street party in our car park, with an entertainer, good old fashioned party food, including jelly and ice cream, cakes made by the children, as well as a huge cake with candles.

We all sang Happy Birthday to her and the National Anthem.

Finished off with some games and the parachute.

Each child received a commemorative coin from the pre-school and flag to take home.

It was a very magical day.

Now shattered and sitting in a heap.

Cheers to everyone celebrating too this weekend.:):):)?

How lovely!.

We had the Mayor turn up yesterday with commemorative coins for the children and we have put on a special event on Monday where an artist is coming to play for the day. We are making all things castle like and royal in the garden and walking the tightrope of doom (actually a slackline!) which if you fall off you may be eaten by Norbert the dragon who lives in the garden!.....Really looking forward to it!  (oh sorry is it for the children....I forgot that! )
