We have a Mum who really struggles with ideas to keep her two year old busy. At half term she said she spent a fortune 'keeping her entertained'. The Manager wants to cover the back of the newsletter with cheap and fun ideas for children. Such as - Make crowns out of paper bags. Make perfume in a jam jar with petals and water. Go on a snail hunt and then have a race. You know the type of thing.

So any ideas for this would be brilliant, if you have a minute .....

Make a watering can from a 1 litre milk bottle. Take this and a bucket of water into the garden for a happy 30 minutes.

Build a bug house from sticks and stones.

Blow football with a ping-pong ball and a couple of straws.

Tell her to be brave and send a text to all friends saying something like

'I'm taking x to the park tomorrow I'll be there from 11am, if you are free bring a picnic and a blanket we'd love to see you'

she maybe surprised by the amount of people who are also struggling to keep their little ones amused.
