Changing your PIN, password or email from within the original version of app Changing your PIN, password or email from within the new iOS app Changing your PIN, password or email from within the new Android app You can change all of these from within your personal preferences section within your account. You can find this by clicking on your name in the top right-hand corner and selecting 'Edit Preferences' from the drop-down menu. Here you can see the relevant options to change your email (1), password (2) and PIN (3). I will go through changing each of the options briefly. To skip to the relevant section, please use the links below. Changing your email Changing your password Changing your PIN Forgotten password I'll start by looking at how you can change your email. Changing your email On the 'Email' page you can see the email address currently linked to your account (1) as well as whether you have opted in to receive Tapestry news (2). When you click into the email address field (1) and start typing your new email you will then also be presented with a second field where you will need to enter your current password (2). You will not be able to proceed with changing your email unless you enter your correct current password. Once you have filled in both of these filed you can press the 'Save' button (3) to change your email. To go back to the previous page you just need to click on the 'Return to Edit Preferences Page' button (4). Changing your password It's really important on Tapestry that you set a strong and secure password for your account, this will help ensure your account and the data in it, is kept safe. At the top of the 'Change your Password' page you can see some information about how you can set a strong password as well as a link to the UK government's current password advice (1). You might also want to have a read through of this article we have written which will guide you through how to set up a secure password. Underneath this you will see the password requirements you will need to meet in order to set a new password for yourself (2). These can be set by a manager on your account. This tutorial talks you through this process. To set a new password you will need to enter your existing password (3), your new one (4) and then re-enter your new one (5). Once you have done this you just need to click on the 'Change Password' button (6) and after this if you want to return to the previous screen you can click on the 'Return to Edit Preferences Page' button (7). Changing your PIN Your 4-digit PIN on Tapestry can be used to quickly and easily access the Tapestry app. To change this on the 'Change your PIN' page page you simply need to enter your existing PIN (1) and then enter (2) and re-enter (3) a new 4-digit PIN. Once you've done this, simply click on the 'Change PIN' button (4). If you want to return to the previous page, just click on the 'Return to Edit Preferences Page' (5). Forgotten password If you have forgotten your password, you can either ask a manager on your account to reset it, or you can reset it yourself. To do this you just need to click where it says 'Having trouble logging in?' (1) underneath the login button on the Tapestry sign in page. Select 'Reset Your Password' (1). On the next screen you will need to enter your email address (1) and then click on 'Submit' (2). This will send you a reset email from which you can set up a new password. If you are set up on multiple Tapestry accounts with the same email address you will receive an email for each account you are set up on. Within the subject of each email you will see the name of the setting that the password reset is for. You can ignore or delete any emails for accounts you don't need to reset the password for.
