Failure to report child abuse could become a criminal offence

Recommended Posts

I don't think there is a need for any kind of threat to make us report child abuse because we do report it. What is needed is more social workers to investigate our concerns, as there is such a shortage at the moment. That is why we are failing these children. The government talk about Early Intervention where this would/could be pick up, then go and close down all the Childern/Sure start Centres. Lets put the money to better use and support the people on the front line who have to deal with it day after day and like us, are not in it for the money, but want to give our children the life they deserve.
