Parent e mail notifications

Dear Tapestry users.....and fellow colleagues...

 

Could anyone please inform me how to enable the Tapestry system to ensure that when an observation is undertaken and posted - the parent/carer automatically gets a electronic notification...I worry that parents will become unresponsive if there is no alert e mail?

 

Any advice would be appreciated..

If you go to 'control panel' - 'manage settings' - 'Options: Relatives' - then click the top box to allow relatives to receive notifications :1b
