We are due to start our after school club soon which will be led by a level 3 practitioner in our pre-school. We will be taking children from the local school (up to 9 years) . I am assuming that as we have pre-school children attending that the same rules apply for qualifications e.g. 1 level 3 + another level 3 (can I get away with a 2???) but presumably they need at least a child care qualification. I've just had a lovely lady apply who has a degree in Philology...but no childcare qualifications. HELP please confused.com sorry that is supposed to read Qualifications....didn't have my glasses on!
