AnonyMouse_53192
It has been confirmed today that the EYFS Profile will now remain in place for the 2017 to 2018 academic year! So we can presume that we will have two more years of EYFS Profile results, Summer 2017 and Summer 2018 Foundation Years: Great early years and childcare bulletin: The DfE has published the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile result: 2015 to 2016. The profile results show that nationally, 69.3 per cent of children achieved a good level of development, an increase of 3 percentage points (ppts) on 2015. The gap for children achieving at least the expected level in all early learning goals decreased nearly 1 percentage point from 16.6 ppts in 2015 to 15.7 ppts in 2016. Both girls and boys have shown improvement but boys have improved at a faster rate. The Secretary of State for Education, Justine Greening, has also announced that the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile will remain in place for the 2017 to 2018 academic year.
