AnonyMouse_25678
As if there appalling cuts on staff, rise in cost of courses and total lack of support was not enough Worcestershire County Council have now stopped their subscription to FSF - I am guttted - there is no way I can do without all your support and as for Tapestry it is so popular with staff and parents I couldn't possibly stop having it. Yet another cost to add to the increasing number of costs with no increase in funding - when will it stop??
AnonyMouse_19762
Oh that is disappointing for you - but i would happily pay the subscription if Kent ever took that decision (they'd better not) Edited October 20, 2016 by sunnyday
Steve
We were sorry to hear it too. Sadly LAs are having a very hard time of things at the moment and it's sometimes difficult to see the wood for the trees when deciding on priorities. Especially when the people making decisions are at the same time being made redundant.
AnonyMouse_25678
Don't get me wrong it is still extremely good value for money and I will pay just wondering where the cuts will stop?

AnonyMouse_1469
we were cast adrift by our LEA quite somew hile ago. A shame, but understandable i think. Just another thing to add to my outgoings. Now, if I can make some improvements to the INcomings, all will be well
AnonyMouse_11134
Funnily enough we are the other way around, I've been paying a personal subscription for years, until just last year our LA subscribed......watch this space for how long though because our hourly funding rate isn't going up anytime soon!! AnonyMouse_55063
Ours have never subscribed, to my knowledge anyway! It's only £25 per year, yet I understand your frustrations with the cut backs added on top of everything else
Steve
Lest anyone think we're being greedy, it's £20 plus VAT, which is the same price we introduced the FSF at in 2004.
AnonyMouse_55063
less than 50p per week is a bargain imo - I think the issue is with the many financial nightmares settings are being faced with of late

To be honest I would pay more as it is by far the best source of information (and camaraderie ) I have!!!
