AnonyMouse_3139 Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 I once heard that the British will join a queue even without knowing whats at the other end...can I have it too???? Quote

AnonyMouse_3139 Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 That looks really interesting, thank you young man Quote
AnonyMouse_73 Posted February 17, 2006 Author Posted February 17, 2006 thanks for that Steve. After a night off and a hoover, my computer now seems to be behaving itself (I should imagine its complainng of over work this week!) Nicola its one of the documents that links with every Child Matters and outlines all the skills and knowledge anyone who works with children and young people should have (hence the term common..ie common to everyone..) Rea you are so right about queus, not that it is a British phenomenon, its just that the British are remarkably good at it. When we lived in zambia we frequently joined queues simply beause there was one and actually it didnt matter what was at the end of it, you knew you would wnat it anyway otherwise there wouldnt have been aqueue!! Perfect logic.. Quote
Guest Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 That's a good idea, Peggy! Never thought of that! Quote
