Jewellery policy for a private nursery?

Recommended Posts

Posted

Does anyone have a policy on children's jewellery and what's acceptable and what's not? I know schools do, but we are a private nursery and have had children come in with necklaces, bracelets etc and I'm not too happy about it?. Any advice is appreciated . Thanks in advance.

I think it is perfectly acceptable to adopt the same rules as schools - they are there for health and safety reasons, not to mention what happens if something is lost or damaged.

A quick Google search brings up lots of examples that you can adapt for your own purposes - I've had a quick look in our resources library but didn't come up with anything - so if you do put something together then if you upload it here I can put it into the resources library for others to see and share!
