AnonyMouse_14268
We have one confirmed case in our setting. Do I need to report this or will the GP do it?
AnonyMouse_8282
We had to report it to Ofsted, the GP notified public health.
AnonyMouse_30128
you only need to report to public health after one more case. you need two seperate cases (they are keeping a close eye at the moment as the rates have increased dramatically!) We have has a few cases recently....the children need to go to the doctors asap and get antibiotics then after 24 hours are not infectious....there have been two local children who have got it for a second time after a couple of weeks!
AnonyMouse_30128
a separate case is NOT a sibling !
AnonyMouse_19762
Yes we have had it too - just one single case - no need to notify unless it it is an outbreak.........an 'outbreak' = 2 cases according to Public Health England
