We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person to work with us in our Outstanding setting. You will need a positive attitude and the desire to work to an outstanding level to provide the best possible start for our children.

 

You must have a good understanding of the EYFS and have experience of working with children from 2-4 years.

 

Qualifications:

 

Essential: NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care Learning and Development (or equivalent qualification).

Desirable: GCSE Maths, English and ICT

 

Job description:

 

The main duties include:

 

working as part of a team demonstrating good communication skills;

acting as a Key Person to a group of nursery children keeping written and computerised records relating to learning and development;

working in partnership with parents to inform them of their childs progress;

taking part in training to update skills and attend staff meetings;

being engaged in continuous, enhanced and adult directed activities to fulfil the requirements of the EYFS;

 

You will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check. References will be sought before interview.

 

Salary details:

 

HCC Scale B (Pay Scale for Support Staff pro rata for 39 weeks) starting from £7.94 per hour.

 

Details of hours of work:

 

Monday to Friday 9am-3pm term time only. Additional hours will also be available to work in the breakfast club and after school club with children aged 2-11 years old.
