Are level 2 qualified staff allowed to give medicines?

Is there anything in statutory guidance that says that level 2 staff are not allowed to give medicines..

no ..there isnt anything against it to my knowledge unless your own policies dictated they weren't

Our policy states- key-person, witnessed/signed off by manager deputy.

We are a sessional preschool though so not a lot of medication needed really, mainly asthma pumps.
