Health and safety cake

Recommended Posts

Some of you may remember that when a friend who was the school business manager was going through an audit I made her millionaire's shortbread as an appropriate cake for an audit.

Well, a different set of people are due to have a very intense, detailed and thorough health and safety audit. I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a cake that might be appropriate for this kind of audit?

The only thing I have come up with so far is some 'freaky fingers' biscuits (Hallowe'en recipe) packed up in a plastic bag with a note saying "Health and safety gone wrong!"

It's just to make the people going through the audit smile a little - not to present to the auditors!!

Any suggestions welcome!

How complicated or simple do you want it to be? You could make very simple sparklers with breadsticks dipped in chocolate and hundreds and thousands in a chipped mug.

More complicated could be a cake that's got vey wonky layers that you've baked with the trays slightly tipped in the oven. You could very obviously hold them together with chopsticks or something through the middle after you've laid them on top of each other wonkily.
