I need a nit treatment for me, I need one that is fast and effective, don't care about the chemicals! What do you recommend? God if it's not the D and V bug that is going to get me, it's the nits! Who said working with children was fun?

I'm with Cait - when my daughter was little with lovely long blond fine hair (aarrggggg) I used to treat her with tea tree shampoo and conditioner and as Cait suggested leave conditioner in and comb through (she couldn't have the chemical treatments).

Whatever chemical you use, you still need to use the nit comb so you might as well just keep conditioning and combing thoroughly every couple of days. That way you remove the live lice before they mature enough to lay eggs.
