AnonyMouse_59260
Hi all, Just wondering what everyone does with summatives and 'all about me' forms for children that leave your settings? Do you keep them on file, send them home with the parents or shred them?? We've been keeping them on file but the file is getting massive! Thanks
AnonyMouse_33773
From the EYFS requirements: 3.71 Records relating to individual children must be retained for a reasonable period of time after they have left the provision. For those that are related to children's learning and development, I consider 'reasonable' to be 3 years.
FSFRebecca
Our learning and development records go with the child. We keep all records pertaining to attendance, health and safeguarding. Financial things are shredded.
AnonyMouse_33773
Is there any reason to keep development records?
FSFRebecca
Is there any reason to keep development records? That's what I thought - we send on L+D records and then sort everything else
