AnonyMouse_79379
Hi everyone, I have recently begun looking after an 18 month old little girl who I could do with some advice on. She has food allergies, mainly dairy and soy and suffers with eczema, particularly on the backs of her thighs and on the insides of her elbows and knees. This is all under control as much as is possible. The area that I could do with some advice on is that she likes to hold something in both hands at all times and won't let go, even if she wants to pick something else up. She also sits on the floor with her legs straight out in front of her with her back perfectly straight and rocks from side to side. She seeks out sensory activities such as rice play, sand, water, paint, mud, rocks, dried pasta etc. She loves to stand on it, throw it, squash it and flick it around. Developmentally she is within her parameters I am just wondering if anyone has seen this kind of thing before?
