Red Barn Preschool  are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, creative and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our happy and hard working team.

Applicants will need to hold a full and relevant Early years childcare qualification to Level 2 and have some experience of working with young children.

You may be expected to act as a key person for a group of children; so, the applicant must be able to record observations, children’s progress and provide support with planning the curriculum.

The role will involve working with individuals as well as groups of children in a pre-school setting. You will be organised, able to use your own initiative and have good communication skills with good knowledge of how young children learn best. You will need to have a good knowledge of the EYFS. You must be adaptable, able to work within an established team and  be committed to supporting young children.

Applicants must have a good knowledge of Safeguarding.

A Paediatric First aid certificate is desirable but not essential as training can be provided. 

 

This position is on a temporary contract until the end of July 2018 with the hope of becoming a permanent contract from September 2018.
