AnonyMouse_16365 Posted March 13, 2018 Posted March 13, 2018 Hi, We are a packaway setting that requires some storage for wellies. Can anyone give any feedback on the small welly trolley that holds 24 pairs or on any other welly storage? We have to take everything out to a shed so it needs to be able to cope with concrete paths and door thresholds. Any ideas?
AnonyMouse_14268 Posted March 13, 2018 Posted March 13, 2018 We have a metal welly rack on wheels and it’s really good, it came from either Early years resources or TTS. We take it inside and out each day and it is robust. 1
AnonyMouse_16365 Posted March 13, 2018 Author Posted March 13, 2018 Hi Zigzag, Thanks for the reply. The one I have been looking at is quite compact with 3 tiers, storing 24 boots. Wherever I have looked, no one has reviewed any of them!
FSFRebecca Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 Is it this one? Metal wellie rack. There are some reviews too, one of which is quite funny 1 2

AnonyMouse_23964 Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 We have a double one of these. Looks slightly different. We have had an issue when one of our larger children held onto one of the wellie holders to take his boots off. Unfortunately one side the the holder came apart. We have taped round it to make it safe.
AnonyMouse_16365 Posted March 14, 2018 Author Posted March 14, 2018 Are these ones easy to move around? Or do they become heavy when fully stocked?
AnonyMouse_30128 Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 Don't know if it's any help (because we don't wheel them around much) but we use lunch box trolleys and we teach the children to put one wellie inside the other so that we can get twice as many on.. similar to this 1
AnonyMouse_7120 Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 We do exactly the same and have for years and I see one of the catalogues is selling them now as wellie trolleys, we have the fold together one and it takes 50+ pairs inside each other which even the 2yr olds soon get, we move it around depending on which areas they can/can’t access depending on weather/state of ground....again they soon learn they don’t go past the wellie rack without putting them on regardless of where it is, we bungee to the fence for security :-) 2
