Children role playing sunbathing

Hi,

 

I am after advice.  We have children who are pretending to sunbathe. Would you discourage this or allow them to do it as it is something that their parents do?

why don't you use it to get a message across? so have they got their hats? suncream? water ? and umbrellas?? why would you need these things...what would happen if you don't have them...are there any times of the day that you should avoid? etc. you need sun for vitamin D it's not the big evil as long as you protect yourself from burning

I agree with Finleysmaid.  I would have sunhats, umbrellas, pretend sun cream etc for them to use as props to role play and an adult available to model it to start with.
