AnonyMouse_30128 Posted May 15, 2018 Posted May 15, 2018 ok having a frustrating day. I have just had a visit from a school where two of our children will go in September. During the visit the teacher took out an exercise book and asked both the children to write their name in it (with a biro!) I was not asked if they could do this and both children looked rather shocked to just be confronted in this way. I had also asked them to monitor the way they spoke about school as lots of ours are getting a bit worried . So she starts the conversation by saying i'm Mrs X i'm from your new BIG school...you'll be coming to us in September! Quote

We are lucky that ours are lovely and totally 'get' nursery. Did you say anything to her? Quote

Did you say anything to her? was a bit too astonished i think! and didn't want to say anything in front of the children... Unusual for me not to respond but just didn't have an appropriate moment Quote
