AnonyMouse_19920 Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 I wonder if anyone has a leaflet they give to parents explaining the eyfs to them - we give out a big booklet which is becoming expensive to print - was hoping for a 2/4 sided booklet if possible? i have looked online but seem to be going round in circles.
AnonyMouse_25678 Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 I use this - not sure if it was not from this site originally but you are welcome to use it for ideas Parent_booklet_EYFS_blank.doc
AnonyMouse_19782 Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 Yes I use something very similar so must be from the same website - Foundation Years, maybe. I only print off one page though, not all of it. I would say just pick out what you really think you need to tell parents, you can't tell them everything, - I go on the basis of "need to know", if they want more, or something isn't clear they can always ask us and get chapter and verse
AnonyMouse_7120 Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 I just have a basic overview in the prospectus with this link, which I think is the same as Panders, I seem to remember our county more or less telling us we had to flag parents to it a few years ago, also have a copy on the parent board. https://www.foundationyears.org.uk/files/2014/08/EYFS_Parents_Guide-amended.pdf
FSFRebecca Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 We have several things in our resource area which you can download and amend for your own use Partnerships with parents is the section you are after.
