AnonyMouse_2127
Did something just happen to the Home page? I had a job getting into the forum at first - there wasn't a "view new posts ", etc . But there was a different home page !!! Definitely on here - because I haven't left it yet. I finally got into the Forum Index and then when I clicked onto the home page - lo and behold the original one appeared Sue J Please tell me I'm not going mad Steve !!!! Steve
Um - not guilty Sue. I'm meddling with other things at the moment so the front page should be relatively safe...
Guest
Were you logged in as a member?
Steve
Aha - yes, did you have to log in? There's a different front page for visitors than for members.
AnonyMouse_2127
Steve Since I've been a member I have never logged in or out, I just come straight in. I'm sure I have access to everything a member has. The home page for me ....small picture of child/children top left with Welcome back! next to it. Under that there is a list of topics and other articles to click on. On the right there is list of Most Recent Topics and below that the Last 20 Posts. Is that the Home Page every member has? I can't remember what the other Home Page looked like - I only remember it was different. Sue J
Steve
That's the members home page Sue, that's fine. Just thought it was a possible explanation for your confusion earlier. Usually you don't have to log in and out, but occasionally your system might lose the 'cookie' that tells the site who you are, and that's when you might have to log in. AnonyMouse_2127
Thanks for that Steve All back to normal then. I sometimes wonder whether I've lost my marbles - but never my cookies - I'm too fond of them to lose them - I usually know where they are!!!
