Early Years Practitioner vacancy

Playbox St Johns Pre-school Nursery, Egham

Up to 32½ hours per week – term time only, from January 2019

We are looking for a qualified practitioner (with a Full and Relevant level 2 or above) to join our team. We may consider an unqualified candidate with proven experience working in an Early Years environment. This could be either Fixed Term until July 2019 or permanent - to suit candidates.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of key children and completing their learning journeys so will need to demonstrate strong, written communication, observation and assessment skills. You will plan and deliver high-quality play and learning opportunities through a wide range of activities. You will need to have a good understanding of EYFS Development Matters and Safeguarding.

Playbox offers good working conditions within a friendly team, in a lovely environment and a competitive hourly rate (from £8.85 per hour for qualified staff). There is some flexibility over hours.

Playbox has a policy of equal opportunity for both the children attending and the staff and welcomes applications from all sections of the community. Playbox is committed to the safeguarding of all children, therefore appointments are subject to receiving an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service which we consider acceptable as well as appropriate references.

For further information please contact Sian Williams at playbox@stjohnsegham.com.

Please email applications – in the form of a covering letter, full details of your Early Years qualification(s) and cv.
