Storytime tab

Recommended Posts

I have been uploading private messages, stories songs and rhymes to the children but wondered if we could have a special tab just for Story time? Then parents could access that whenever they wanted, without scrolling through all the other obs and messages. We are isolating as a school at the moment so doing everything from home. Many other settings must be in the same situation. This would be really useful for us and for parents. Thank you

Hi JacquiShadrake!

I think that the tagging system would really work for you in this case.

With the tagging system you’ll be able to tag key words by putting a hashtag (#) in front of the word you’d like to label in any observation. This feature will allow you to create an additional category of your choice, which you and your families will then be able to use to sort through observations.

For example, whenever you upload an observation/memo/activity that you'd like to group under Story Time, you'd add #storytime at the end of the notes. Then, relatives can use this tagged word to quickly find all the other posts also tagged with #storytime.

This is a relative's filter view from the browser (they can also use filters when logged in via the app):

And this will quickly bring up all the, in this case, observations that have been tagged under #storytime:

You can learn more about tagging here

I hope this was helpful!

Best wishes,

Olaya
