Guest Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Kat We need you! You have impressed many of us with the phonic planning you recenlty posted in this area. A few of us have been waiting with baited breath fou the up to date plans for last half term and summer term you mentioned you might post. Sorry for being so cheeky Kat but they were so fantastic. (im really sucking up now!!") Lola.
AnonyMouse_64 Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 You might get a quicker response if you PM Kat rather than posting a general thread.
Guest Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 Just backing the calls and pleas Kat - and making sure the thread goes back to the top in case you happen to log on
Guest Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 Kat's phonic plans were fantastic, did anyone hear from her?
Guest Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 No. I even e mailed her through the site- but nothing. My only hope was that she was on holiday and mightreply when back???
AnonyMouse_1195 Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 I know they were fantastic I have saved them just in case someone needs them. How about getting together and producing the next set ourselves, it might help Kat out too! I'll bring the wine and the PIP's stuff.
Guest Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 Is that virtual wine or real? Would love to meet people who live in my area and work together................
Guest Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 What a lovely idea Karen - although I live nowhere near! At least you'd know you'd be meeting with like-minded people who share the same philosophies (?!) (but unfortunately can't spell)

Im finding that the children are really finding it hard to pick these up Thanks
Guest Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Thank you Kat! So good to hear from you. The actvities may come from playing with sounds / PIPS but its the way you plan from it and organise it that is so goo. I wait with baited breath for the summer term ones!
Guest Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Thanks so much Kat ... we were getting worried about you. Like the others have said, you put the ideas together so nicely. Good luck with the house hunting ... stressful or what! Look forward to hearing more from you. Harricroft
Guest Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Thanks Kat- I have just bought my first house and it has been a nightmare - i'm sure you will have better luck!
Guest Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 These plans are so great; does anyone have the link for the other ones that have been posted on here? Thanks
Guest Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 In response to angela69s question about jingles for sh, ch and th I use jolly phonics, here they learn an action as well as then jingle which helps them remember. I have to admit they sometimes get confused over ch and tr! You can get the book and CD from early learning centre or website Jolly learning
Guest Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 website for jolly learning http://www.jollylearning.co.uk/
AnonyMouse_2776 Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 You can get it a lot cheaper via Amazon.co.uk ! Jolly Songs: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/1...4238972-8358844 Jolly Jingles: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/1...4238972-8358844 I found the Jolly Songs easier than the Jingles, maybe because my children have English as a Foreign Language.
AnonyMouse_2776 Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Hi Kat, I see that your plan was for the 2nd half of the Spring Break (2b). Do you also have the one for the 1st half? Could you kindly share it with us here? Thanks in advance !
