AnonyMouse_3735 Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Today I recieved a telephone call from a parent of a child who was in our care, over half hour after the start of session.. She asked me to check her daughters shoes and remove the marble which may be in one of them, as she forgot!! Sure enough on checking there was a red marble in one of her shoes! story emerged from child that her older brother had put the marble in her shoe as they left for school, she had told mum on her way in but seems mum forgot, hence the phone call. She had been with us over half an hour, playing happily without complaining about the marble, had mum not remembered and rang she would have had it in there until end of session. Any other unusual requests from parents? Inge Quote
Steve Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Hah! That's brilliant. I'm almost tempted to put a frog in my son's lunchbox and then phone up the school asking them to take it out... Quote

Guest Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 When recently fundraising I did face painting and took photo's, selling the laminated A4 photo for £2 towards the "garden project". A dad asked if I could put the picture on a CD, so he didn't have to pay for the photo. Cheek I do actually give all parents a CD full of photo's when they leave for school, 2 yrs worth of play pics, sometimes up to 80 photo's. Well, this year on this particular childs CD you won't find any pictures of her having her face painted Peggy Quote
AnonyMouse_63 Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Hi I once had a parent phone up to say they had forgot to put any knickers on their child and did we have a spare pair to put on them. The child thought it was funny and had the choice out of 2 pairs of our spare underwear bag Carol Quote
