Guest
Hi we are doing an assembly basec around trains, we have been on a visit to a train museum, and we have worked on the story 'The Train Ride'. I was wondering if anyone knew of any train songs, etc to supplement our assembly. We are going to do 'The Wheels on the Train'...and an outline of the trip as well as a simple drama of the story. Any ideas welcome Thanks

Guest
Ther is a chant that I've used with preschool children. The children start slowly and then get faster. Coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee [moving arms slowly like a train] Cheese and biscuits, cheese and biscuits, cheese and biscuits, cheese and biscuits. Beef and carrots, beef and carrots, beef and carrots, beef and carrots. Fish and chips, fish and chips, fish and chips, fish and chips, SOUP[like a train whistle; pulling the cord to stop the engine] Anita
