Guest Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Can anyone help? I'm trying to write an intruder policy and I was wondering if anyone had one I could look at for some inspiration. I'm finding it really difficult to think in this heat. Thankyou
Guest Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 I personally think that in this heat you should get all your staff to comment on this one ( many heads and all that). seriously though, it would be useful because you need to know how your staff will react to such a situation before you can consider how 'the staff' should follow certain procedures. as an addendum you could also add how staff would deal with an aggressor when out on preschool walks / trips. Peggy sorry, just like to add having an aim of the policy helps. ie: To ensure the safety of children and staff. That's if you mean an intruder as someone who enters the building, who shouldn't be there ( aggresively or not) whilst the preschool is open, or, an intruder as in burglary. Peggy
AnonyMouse_1027 Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 thats how we did ours, sat in a meeting discussed the senarios and wrote it from there
