Guest Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 Does anyone have a copy of 'Making their day; providing for two year olds in a mixed age setting'? Is it worth getting? Are there any other BTTM publications that people can suggest?
AnonyMouse_4544 Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 (edited) Making their day - Providing for two-year-olds in mixed-age settings is specialised guidance that has been published by the Pre-School Learning Alliance. It has been developed to address practitioners' concerns that two-year-olds have so far been overlooked. It aims to fill a gap in resources specific to this age group and help pre-schools and full daycare settings to develop good practice with children from two to five years old. The guidance can be ordered from www.pre-school.org.uk or by calling 0870 603 0062 quoting A082.£13.95 Edited August 19, 2006 by Marion
Guest Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 I do have a copy of the above guide and I think it is really worth investing in, particularly if you are working in a mixed age setting. It tells you how to provide for 2-3 year olds and gives some really good guidance. I would definately recommend it if this is the kind of setting you are working in.
