Guest
A query from a student with us...... In order to do an NVQ 3 how many hours a week do you need to be e,ployed? We are in Macclesfield, Cheshire if that makes any difference? Dawn
Guest
The student will need to check with the college or training provider as they will have guidelines on what they require. From my point of view, they need to be doing a decent amount of time in order to gain level 3 status.
Guest
I started my NVQ 3 at full time, but then I fell pregnant and due to illness reduced my hours. When I returned to work with Natalie, I did even fewer hours until I was only working 9-4 on 2 days a week. I think it depends on the training providers and their guidelines. As long as I went to the study day and was actually working (they didn't specify an amount of hours) then my training could continue.
Guest
My provider said the same: as long as you were employed and could attend the day release that was ok, no hours specified.
