AnonyMouse_3735 Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 In light of events this last week we are going to rewrite out policy in this area to make it more defined rather than being part of our behaviour policy , have read past posts and others seem to have written these but not found any examples, or idea of how to wrod it effectively. Anyone any examples they are illing to share or ideas on what should be in this, we have some idea but more input and experiences all gratefully recieved, many thanks Inge
AnonyMouse_1469 Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 maybe something along the lines of: The committee of xxxx group seek to provide a harmonious work place where children, parents and staff feel safe, valued and protected. To this end, any person presenting in an aggressive manner will be asked to leave(and escorted from) the premises immediately.Should the staff feel threatened we reserve the right to contact the police for assistance (and with a view to removing the aggressor from the premises if necessary). All and any genuine grievances should be brought promptly to the attention of (manager), who will investigate them thoroughly, using our published procedures and respond to them in writing withing 7 days.etc etc How's that for a starting point??
