Hi

I am stuck in a rut, I am trying to find another job in childcare, so far I have tried writing Specutalvice letters to everwere, applying for jobs out of the local papers. xD

Does anyone have any other ideas to increase my chances of gaining employment within the childcare sector? :o

Thanks in advance

Yes no luck always no jobs advervised with my local CIS, Hudderfield always as a website that updates itself but often does not update so I am missing out on jobs, latest jobs are from end of september 2006. Bradford sends out newsletter and not other suitable jobs aviabtle, next instalment dec 06.

Beth have you tried the kirklees website for vacancies, i check it every week just to see whats on offer this week there is a job for a

family centre worker its only 22.5 hrs a week pay between £12.500 --13.000.

It might be worth a look. :D

22.5 hours actually sounds quite good :D

Your local council will have a website that will often have childcare jobs advertised (not the CIS one). At the moment there are a fair few jobs around in children's centres, etc.

Also try NCH and Barnardos (think they have sites), as they manage many childcare services and will advertise jobs on them.
