AnonyMouse_2186 Posted November 17, 2006 Share Posted November 17, 2006 Can anyone help me by explaining your transition procedures, regarding children moving rooms within your setting. Our nursery consists of 4 areas: Babies, 1 year olds, 2 year olds and preschool. We involve parents as much as possible and have lots of visits to the room before the 'move date', but i feel that parents lose that special relationship they have created with the previous keyworker and never seem able to regain it. Also, some children take quite a long time to settle, even though they were completley at ease previously.
