Guest Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 5 groups of Carol singers within the last 2 hours. Now I am running out of Choccy bars. WHAT SHALL I DO? Do I turn off the festive outside lights? ( whole street is lit up with them, nearly every house, so we will look odd) Do I stay in with lights on and forget about watching a quiet film undisturbed? Do I leave lights on but go up the pub? answers on a christmas card to..................................... Peggy p.s. if you don't get my answer here, you know where I am. Quote
Guest Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Well some hard questions there Peggy. I am soooo cold the thought of going to our local pub isn't doing it for me. Leave the lights on and do what you fancy doing!! Quote
AnonyMouse_4544 Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Leave the lights on ........remove battery from door bell and knocker from door Quote
AnonyMouse_3139 Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 I'm with Marion or the pub...decisions decisions Quote
Guest Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Not a problem I have Peggy as I live 2 miles from the nearest village and 8 miles from the nearest town! Any chance of a picture of your lights? Happy Christmas! Quote
AnonyMouse_468 Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 I bet if you ask the carol singers to actually sing you a Christmas carol they won't know one. They only seem to know the first verse of "We wish you a merry Christmas" !! Quote

They only seem to know the first verse of "We wish you a merry Christmas" !! ...and years ago when singing this a man came out of his house, gave my friend a clip round the ear and said 'It wont be a bloody merry Christmas if you wake my baby up', and slammed the door. Oh those were the days Quote
Guest Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006  Well how did you guess that we had 5 renditions of We wish you a merry Christmas one group actually included the second verse  went to the pub and sang my own version on the way home  Suzanne, I shall brave the cold tonight and take a few pics, not sure how they will turn out though Peggy ooh, just thought, if I'm out tonight taking pics then i will miss another round of singers ( hee hee) Quote
