Guest Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 Did anyone go to BETT? What were you looking at? Anything exciting? 2Simple's software called 2Paint a Picture looks brilliant. Especially if you let the kids use a paint brush on the Smart board!
Guest Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 I agree 2 Paint a Picture is great, as is their Math City 1. This is a follow on from their award winning 2Simple City both written specifically for the Early Years setting. http://www.2simple.com/ I also liked the digital camera Tuff-Cam from http://www.ttsgroup.co.uk/ These are the people who supply the fantastic floor robots Bee-Bots, they now have one in the shape of a bulldozer. BETT very wearing on the feet but came away with lots of information and new ideas, well worth the pain!
AnonyMouse_4544 Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 I love the music toolkit from 2 simple its great on the IWB
Guest Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 I agree, Marion. As with all their stuff, simple but very effective.
Guest Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 I went to BETT with my new colleagues - from what I could make out it wasn't too much more than a 'jolly' - though some interestnig stuff. We spent an hour and a half in Pizza Express, then went to a 6 O'clock showing of the Rocky Horror Show! I'd never been to either before (been to Pizza Express though) and wasn't particularly looking forward to it, but had a blast. Managed to pick up 2 free 'nice day' dogs, which I used for a counting activity yesterday!
