Guest
I have just sorted Natalie out for bed having just sorted her out in the bath. I was getting her dressed when she started running around, pulling all her toys out (delaying tactics ) and I said to her "Natalie, can you come and finish getting dressed please? It's bedtime." She stops what she is doing, looks me straight in the eye and with a straight face tells me, "Mummy, my name is NOT Natalie, its Incey Wincey Spider." It's the first time I've ever heard her come out with anything like that and it made me laugh until my sides hurt. It just goes to show how quickly they grow up. The thing is though, she has done a lot of growing up since Christmas... She now no longer has her dummy because the fairies came and took it on NYE for the babies (we actually lost it on NYE just before she went to bed and couldn't get out to get her another one), she has started potty training in the last 2 weeks and we have had 2 days now with no accidents, and she is getting so big, I can't hold her with one arm like I used to, but insted have to have her legs either side of me with both my arms under her . I don't know what I am going to do when I can't hold her anymore!

AnonyMouse_3139
They're never too big to hold Clare, maybe too heavy to lift though They grow up fast but each phase is lovely and interesting... Richard was about 8 years old when he asked, while I was driving, how a baby gets out of your tummy, and does it hurt. Tonight, Sam was telling me his friend wanted him to go to a clinic with her because she thinks she's pregnant, so we got to chat about the pill, condoms, STD's. You have the best to come

Guest
They do grow up so fast but funnily enough the 'cute, fun times and things they say' memories of many years ago are as clear as if they happened just yesterday Peggy
