Guest
We're reading Handa's Surprise next week, and doing lots of 'food' activities. Want to bring in PHSE and was wondering if anyone knows of any other story books about Africa that we could share. Also, would like to get children to find out about Africa so need some child friendly websites if anyone has any ideas Harricroft x

AnonyMouse_73
you might like to look at Oxfams cool planet here and this site here which links to other places and lists some books games and activities I love rachel isadora, she has written a number of books, which i have and use, like 'over the green hills', a 'south african night' If you do a search across the forum, you will see other topics where we have discussed this in the past

Guest
Sorry if the title is not quite right but we read a book sometime ago called "One child, one seed" that is from the same series as "A is for Africa". As I remember it was a nice counting story with lovely images.
