Guest
Just wanted to share my lovely day with you all! As we only opened last June this was our first Mothers day so we knew we had to start a tradition. We invited all our mums to join us for the last half an hour of the session .The children made cakes and iced them,a fruit salad and we also laid on sandwiches. We had a very informal sing song with the children choosing their favourite songs, then mums and children helped themselves to the buffet. It was a lovely opportunity for mums to chat informally with staff and each other.Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves. Sorry for rambling on just wanted to share my lovely morning with you all. Bookworm.
AnonyMouse_1195
What a lovely idea and I'm sure it will have helped to build good relationships between staff parents and children. Super.
Guest Wolfie
I agree - that's a lovely tradition to introduce and word will soon get round amongst the Mums that it happens every year!
