Guest
Eric Carle has lots of lovely books relating to mini beasts. You could do a search for them on Amazon.
Guest Wolfie
One of the Planning for Learning series published by Practical Preschool is on the theme of Minibeasts I think? Have a look at their website.
Guest
This is probably a stupid question but when do minibeasts begin appearing outside? We are planning to do minibeasts in a months time but do you think this might be too early?
AnonyMouse_73
Hi Cazza, depending on which minibeasts you are thinking of, they are around all year round. Look under a log and you will find beetles and woodlice, all year round. Spiders too. Ive just seen bees, and ladybirds in my garden today, although Ive not yet seen butterflies, but I bet they're about in the warmer south.
