Guest Wolfie
Does anyone know whether Children's Centres can access the Transformation Fund - I'm getting a lot of conflicting information at the moment! And does it matter whether or not the Children's Centre was a Surestart first in decisions about allocating Transformation funding? I want to start the EYPS in September and the Transformation Fund seems to be my only funding option?
AnonyMouse_7317
Hi i manage the day care in a childreen's centre and have accessed the transformation fund for my degree I also know that 8 of the children centre staff from play and health teams have been able to access it so it should be fine. Do not think surestart should have any effect. Shelley
Guest Wolfie
Oooh, good, that gives me hope then - I'd just heard a rumour that Children's Centres are considered to have enough money already(!) and aren't allowed to access some kinds of funding!! Guest Wolfie
Yes I've heard today that I will definitely be funded for the course and there are also cover costs for days that I'm released for training so that's good!
