AnonyMouse_7243
Help!! I have a nursery class of 3 and 4 year olds and am once again stuck for an idea for an assembly. I always get to this time of year and forget that its our turn creeping up on us. We usually act out a favourite story and sing a song, but just wondered if anyone else had any brilliant new ideas. Most of the children speak English as a second language so it has to be fairly simple!! Thanks!
Guest
I have Reception and younger year 1's and we have just done an assembly using this http://www.musicroom.com/se/ID_No/058027/details.html It says its for lower KS2, but my children learnt it in a week - practising every day. It only lasted for 5 minutes, which was what I needed as it was part of our weekly sharing assembly. I have also used this http://www.musicroom.com/se/ID_No/019156/details.html when I had just Reception. Quite a few songs, but quite easy to learn. I think we might have cut some and added other bits too. Hope this helps and your assembly goes really well.
