Guest
We have a trolley on wheels which is quite deep and the children put their bags in first thing and parents take their child's bag out at hometime
Guest
hopefully changing to a more permanent site within school grounds. just planning for the cloakroom area - been informed that head of school heard of another school being sued by a parent because child fell over bags and hurt herself - a bit over the top? (maybe not these days) anyway planning to have pegs and over the top shelving - within reach of the children for extras - this might help - may be not
AnonyMouse_1469
both community playthings and the consortium do storage systems for bags, shoes etc.......we use pegs to hold boots together, and these go underneath the CP pegs we have (they're lovely.......ith wooden 'pockets' at the top for letters home, hats, bits and pieces to go in!)........at my old grup though, we had a very simple system of a long painted piece of wood fastened to the wall and cup hooks for each child...............cheap, cheerful and attractive once all the childrens name cards were attached! Guest Wolfie
If you've got an IKEA near you, have a look there, they've got some very reasonably priced stirage units that might fit the bill?
