My son's friend and his partner have just had a baby girl so I am going to knit a few jumpers/ cardigans or similar. Need to find the knitting patterns etc., although I did notice that the Pound shop now sell knitting needles for anyone who needs them. Not a huge selection but cheaper than many shops. xx

I was speaking to two ex-employees who have moved onto another setting and they were querying their paid holidays. They have both worked five days per week for the last school year except for a few odd half days off and received four weeks holiday pay - one at Christmas, another at Easter and two at summer break but thought they were due more? They spoke to the manager who said this is what everyone has always been paid. Is this correct does anyone know? One is now working three and half days and the other two days due to changes in circumstances so how will their wages work out, can anyone help with this please? Thank you. xx

It is stunning. My sister lived in Plaidy (a short walk away from Looe) for some years and hated the summer months although we loved a visit there but rarely walked into Looe as way too busy.

The trouble is Ofsted rules and regs change so much it would be better to ask them then get it in writing so you have it there when you have an Ofsted visit.

Is this something you could ask Ofsted?
